Take Noah out to the ballgame!

We have been a little stir crazy and decided to take a couple of breaks this weekend. So our first outing with Noah since coming home was to the Saturday night service at our church. It started at 5pm and we made the final decision to go at 4:59...so we were a little late. We are rapping up a series in Thessalonians and so Noah sat with rapt attention, taking notes, engaging in answering the pastors questions and helping those around us understand the finer points. He's pretty quick for being 10 days old...however he still doesn't have full control of his faculties. The student center where we have church is forever stained with Noah pee.

After the service we headed to our churches learning center to introduce Noah around. We ran into several people that were very interested in our progeny.....but we made everyone jump in a hazmat suit, and run through the sanitizer machine before they could even look at Noah....not really. We aren't those kind of parents....everyone that wanted to hold him could and did. He was wonderful as he was passed around to several folk...and it was fun being the beaming proud parents.

So today for our second outing we decided to head out to our nephew Sam's playoff game for spring baseball. On the way to the park I asked Abby if we were insane for taking a 11 day old out in public on a overcast day in the 80's. We both agreed that we were and that's the part we liked best in each other. This was the first time that we got to use our brand new stroller....the stroller that doesn't fit in the trunk of our car with the back wheels on. It was awesome.

Sam won his game and we got some good pictures.

The top of our snazzy stroller. Guess where we went for lunch:
